Arabba in summer - The paradise of the Dolomites, UNESCO Heritage Site
Arabba, the paradise in the Dolomites World Heritage Site, is located in the green valley of Fodom with a view on the Marmolada.
Summer in Arabba is full of activities that immerse you in the fairy-tale nature of the high-altitude forests and mountain pastures, from which you can enjoy the enchanting views of the Sella group. Trekking and high altitude routes are also accessible to less experienced hikers or families, who can enjoy the panoramic view on the famous trail of the Viel del Pan or Col di Lana trail.
For those who want to climb the Dolomites there are routes of each level up to an altitude of 3,162 meters of Piz Boè and on the famous cliffs of Castle Andraz.
Mountain-bike lovers find the ideal territory in Arabba to follow the routes of the Giro del Sella and attend many events for bikers from all over the world: The Gran Fondo Dolomiti Stars, the Cronoscalata Pordoi and the Marathon of the Dolomites.
Arabba is the center of Ladin culture - a true linguistic heritage that dates back to Roman times. The historical roots of the Fodom valley are of great historical interest as are the routes indicated by the Museum of Traditions and Customs History of the Ladin People in Livinallongo and the Castle of Andraz.
